Join the Mortimer History Society

Membership of the Mortimer History Society runs from 1 April to 31 March. 

To join for the year ending 31 March 2011 simply click on the correct Paypal symbols below or print out and fill in the membership form.   Please also fill in a membership interests form when you take out a Paypal membership or wish to change your details.

Membership Privileges

Membership of the Society will give an opportunity to study and review the broad sweep of English and Welsh medieval history, including aspects of Irish, Scottish and European medieval history through the activities of the Mortimer dynasty from the early eleventh century to the latter half of the fifteenth century. Please refer to the aims and objectives of the society. In addition the privileges are - 

  1. Member of a prestigious national history society with access to officers, and other members
  2. Newsletter, minimum 3 times annually - Paper copy as well as website access  
  3. Paper copy of Annual Journal 
  4. Access to ‘members only’ areas of Website ( Newsletter, Forum, Gazetteer members level) 
  5. Discounted rates for all conferences, and field visits. Other activities as appropriate 
  6. Local group activities as arranged
